Course Description:
This course is an in-depth study and overview of “religion” as a development of human construct from the Paleolithic period to Axial age. This course also provides a basic historical outline of religion and religious practices based on societal norms and constructs.
Objective:
- Students will gain the understanding of the meaning and application of the term “religion.”
- The student will be exposed to the development of religious thought and observance throughout human existence.
- The student will gain proper perspective dealing with social-political adherence to religious though.
