Course Description:

This course is an in-depth study and overview of “religion” as a development of human construct from the Paleolithic period to Axial age. This course also provides a basic historical outline of religion and religious practices based on societal norms and constructs.

Objective:

1. Students will gain the understanding of the meaning and application of the term “religion.”
2. The student will be exposed to the development of religious thought and observance throughout human existence.
3. The student will gain proper perspective dealing with social-political adherence to religious though.
